The ester (26) (222 mg, 0.64 mmol) was hydrolysed using Method C, except that MeOH (1 mL), THF (1 mL) and 1 M NaOH (1 mL) were used, and the reaction was stirred for 1.5 hours. After work-up, the crude product was triturated with DCM/heptane (×3) to provide the title compound. Yield: 134 mg; LC tr 1.39 min; HPLC Purity: 92%
