To a solution of the product of step 2 (3.5 g, 0.0097 moles) in DMF (35 mL), potassium carbonate (4 gm, 0.0291 moles) and Ethyl bromo acetate (1.8 gm, 0.0107 moles) were added and reaction mixture was srirred at 100° C. for over night. The reaction mixture was poured into ice cold water and extracted by ethyl acetate. The combined ethyl acetate extract was washed with water and brine, dried over sodium sulphate and evapourated under reduced pressure to yield 2.2 gm (55%) of product as solid.
