To a solution of the product of step 4 (350 mg, 0.605 mmoles) in THF (2 mL) Water: (2 ml), lithum hydroxide monohydrate (38 mg, 0.908 mmoles), was added and the reaction mixture was stirred at 25° C. for 3 hours. The reaction mixture was poured into ice cold water, acidified by dil.HCl and extracted with ethyl acetate. The combined ethyl acetate extract was washed with water & brine, dried over sodium sulphate and evaporated under reduced pressure to yield 250 mg (77%) of product as solid.
