To a solution of 42 (0.030 g, 0.029 mmol) in DCM (5 mL) was added TFA (1 mL) and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 min. Aqueous NaHCO3 (3 mL) was then added to the reaction mixture. The reaction mixture was concentrated, diluted with water, and the product was extracted with DCM (3×30 mL). The organic extracts were washed with water, brine and dried over anhydrous Na2SO4. The solvent was removed on rotary evaporator and the product was purified by reverse phase HPLC. 1H NMR (DMSO, 300 MHz) δ8.0 (s, 2H), 7.9 (d, J=9.9 Hz, 2H), 7.38 (d, J=9.9 Hz, 2H), 7.3-7.1 (m, 6H), 6.8 (m, 2H), 4.8 (s, 4H), 4.62 (m 2H), 4.5-4.4 (m 2H), 4.4-4.0 (m, 4H), 3.7-3.5 (m, 4H), 3.4 (m, 2H), 2.5 (m, 2H), 2.2-1.8 (m, 8H), 1.35 (d, J=9.9 Hz, 6H), 1.05 (d, J=5.5 Hz, 6H), 0.95 (d, J=5.5 Hz, 6H) ppm.
