A mixture of 2-{[4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]oxy}-5-(2-iodoethyl)benzonitrile (200 mg, 0.443 mmol), K2CO3 (122 mg, 0.886 mmol), and 5-(5-pyrimidinylmethyl)-2-thioxo-2,3-dihydro-4(1H)-pyrimidinone (107 mg, 0.487 mmol) in DMF (4 mL) was heated with a microwave reactor at 60° C. for 15 min. Purification via reverse phase flash chromatography then afforded the title compound (148 mg, 61.4% yield). LCMS: rt=3.34 min, [M+H+]=544
