To a solution of 37A (472 mg, 1.497 mmol) and N,N-diisopropylethylamine (1.043 ml, 5.99 mmol) in DMF (10 ml), was added N-(benzyloxycarbonyloxy) succinimide (411 mg, 1.647 mmol). The mixture was stirred rt for 1 h, then quenched with water, extracted with EtOAc (3×30 ml). The organic layer was washed with brine, dried (Na2SO4) and concentrated. The crude product was purified by flash chromatography (0-60% EtOAc in hexanes) to give 37B (520 mg, 1.381 mmol, 92% yield). MS (ESI) m/z: 377.3 (M+H)+.
