4-Fluorobenzhydrazide (50 mg, 0.324) an (S)-tert-butyl 2-(4-cyanophenyl)morpholine-4-carboxylate (112 mg, 0.389 mmol) and potassium carbonate (22.5 mg, 0.162 mmol) was dissolved in butan-1-ol (1 ml) and stirred in a closed vial for 3 h at 150° C. The vial was opened and heating was continued for another 15 min to evaporate most of the solvent.
