Procedure
A solution of the product of Example 58A (60 mg, 0.25 mmol) in ethyl acetate (2 mL) was stirred with hydrochloric acid (Aldrich, 4 M in dioxane, 0.14 mL, 0.55 mmol) at ambient temperature for 4 hours. The title compound was collected by filtration and dried under vacuum. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 7.44 (d, J=7.9 Hz, 1H), 7.62 (t, J=7.9 Hz, 1H), 7.80 (dd, J=7.9, 5.2 Hz, 1H), 7.85-7.96 (m, 2H), 8.60 (d, J=7.9 Hz, 1H), 8.90 (d, J=4.8 Hz, 1H), 9.31 (s, 1H) ppm; MS (DCl/NH3) m/z 239 (M+H)+, 256 (M+NH4)+.
