49 mg (0.09 mmol) of the compound from Example 103 were dissolved in 2 ml of methanol, and 193 μl (0.19 mmol) of a 1 N aqueous lithium hydroxide solution were added. The mixture was stirred at RT for 30 min. The solvent was then removed under reduced pressure, the residue was dissolved in 5 ml of water and the solution was extracted once with 5 ml of ethyl acetate. The organic phase was discarded. The aqueous phase was acidified with 0.2 ml of 1 N hydrochloric acid and extracted twice with in each case 5 ml of ethyl acetate. The combined organic phases were dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure. This gave 40 mg (83% of theory) of the target compound.
