Prepared according to the method described in Example 2 from 2-chloro-5-formyl-N-(tricyclo [3.3.1.13,7]dec-1-ylmethyl)-benzamide (0.800 g, Example 1b), 2-(2-aminoethylthio)ethanol (0.584 g) and sodium triacetoxyborohydride (0.715 g) in 1,2-dichloroethane (15 ml). After work-up, the residue was purified by NPHPLC eluting with a gradient of 0–10% ethanol in dichloromethane to give the title compound as a white powder (0.536 g).
