Preparation of example 117 from the the title compound of Example 7 (hydrochloride) (44 mg, 0.141 mmol), (R)-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-phenyl-acetic acid (42 mg, 0.169 mmol), triethylamine (0.059 mL, 0.423 mmol), and O-(7-azabenzotriazol-1-yl)-N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyluronium hexafluorophosphate (64 mg, 0.169 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (0.4 mL) and N,N-dimethylformamide (0.4 mL) was carried out analogously to Example 11. Silica gel chromatography (eluted with 1:1 hexane:acetone), also in an analogous manner, afforded the title compound (102 mg) as a yellow powder contaminated with an unknown impurity. The compound was an intermediate and carried on without further purification to Example 91.
