To a solution of 76C (95 mg, 0.42 mmol) in THF (3 mL) at 0° C., was added BH3 (1M in THF, 0.4 mL, 4 mmol). The mixture was stirred rt for 16 h. EtOAc (20 mL) was added, and the organic phase washed with 1M H3PO4, sat. NaHCO3 and brine, dried (Na2SO4), and concentrated to give 76D (90 mg, 100%). MS (ESI) m/z 197.0 (M−H2O+H)+.
