Procedure

To a solution of tert-Butyl (3-{6-amino-8-[(6-bromo-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)thio]-9H-purin-9-yl}-1-cyclobutylpropyl)carbamate (0.015 g, 0.026 mmol) in EtOAc (2 mL) was added dropwise conc. HCl (1 mL) and the resulting mixture was stirred for overnight at room temperature. After concentration under reduced pressure, the residual HCl was removed by co-evaporation with toluene afford title product (0.005 g) as a hydrochloride salt. 1H MNR (CD3OD) δ 8.33 (s, 1H), 7.29 (s, 1H), 7.19 (s, 1H), 6.09 (s, 2H), 4.40-4.28 (m, 2H), 3.49-3.40 (m, 4H), 2.50-1.70 (m, 6H); LC-MS [M+23]+ 477.9.
