The NHS ester (0.35 g, 0.62 mmol) was dissolved in H2O (30 mL), and pamidronate (0.52 g, 2.23 mmol) and Et3N (1.7 mL, 12.4 mmol) were added. The reaction solution was stirred for 24 h at room temperature. Subsequently, the H2O was removed in the vacuum. The product obtained was purified by means of HPLC.
