To a stirred solution of tert-butyl ((1S)-1-(6-(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-1-methyl-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyridin-5-yl)ethyl)carbamate (149 mg, 0.403 mmol) in THF (4 mL) was added dropwise 4 M HCl (1 mL, 4.00 mmol) in dioxane. The mixture was stirred at RT for 2 hours and then concentrated in vacuo to give an HCl salt of the title compound as an off-white solid. ESI-MS m/z [M+H]+ calc'd for C15H19N5, 270.16; found 270.6.
