To a solution of Example 152C (0.46 g, 2.0 mmol) in THF (10 mL) were added 2-methoxy-5-(trifluoromethyl)benzoyl chloride (0.52 g, 2.2 mmol, JRD Fluorochemicals Ltd) and triethylamine (0.84 mL, 6.0 mmol). After stirring at 60° C. for 14 hr, the reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature, quenched with saturated NaHCO3 (10 mL) and extracted with ethyl acetate (3×20 mL). The combined organic extracts were dried (Na2SO4), filtered and concentrated. The residue was purified by column chromatography using an Analogix® Intelliflash280™ (SiO2, 0-50% ethyl acetate in dichloromethane) to afford 75 mg of the title compound. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ ppm 0.93 (t, J=7.3 Hz, 3 H), 1.22-1.46 (m, 2 H), 1.65 (s, 2 H), 1.65 (s, 6 H), 2.63-2.83 (m, 2 H), 3.89 (s, 3 H), 4.60 (d, J=47.1 Hz, 2 H), 7.31 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1 H), 7.80 (dd, J=8.6, 2.5 Hz, 1 H), 8.10 (d, J=2.4 Hz, 1 H), 8.63 (s, 1 H); MS (ESI+) m/z 433 (M+H)+; Anal. Calculated C20H24F4N2O2S: C, 55.54; H, 5.59; N, 6.48. Found: C, 55.75; H, 5.23; N, 6.43.
