A solution of 2-chloro-4-(2-methoxy-phenyl)-pyrimidine (0.883 g, 0.004 mol), and C-(4-amino-phenyl)-N-methyl-methanesulfonamide (0.801 g, 0.004 mol) (Macor, John E.; Blank et al., Tetrahedron Letters (1992), 33(52), 8011-14) in DMF is stirred in DMF (12 ml) for 2 hours at 80° C. (TLC control). The solvent was removed under reduced pressure to give C-{4-[4-(2-methoxy-phenyl)-pyrimidin-2-ylamino]-phenyl}-N-methyl-methanesulfonamide.
