1H-1,2,4-triazole was dissolved in 4-dioxane and treated with sodium hydride (20 mg, 0.48 mmol, 60% dispersion in mineral oil) with stirring at ambient temperature for 30 minutes. N-(3-Ethyl-1-((1-ethyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)methyl)-1H-indazol-4-yl)-7-fluoroimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxamide (35 mg, 0.08 mmol) was added as a solution in N,N-dimethylformamide. The mixture was heated to 98° C. and stirred for 2 days. The mixture was quenched by the addition of water. A precipitate formed and the solid was isolated by filtration, washed with water and dried under vacuum to give N-(3-ethyl-1-((1-ethyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)methyl)-1H-indazol-4-yl)-7-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxamide as a white solid (39 mg). MS m/z 481.1 (M+1, APCI+).
