A solution of 77 mg of [2,6-dimethyl-4-(5-phenoxy-oxazolo[5,4-d]pyrimidin-2-yl)-phenoxy]-acetic acid tert-butyl ester in 0.7 ml of trifluoroacetic acid was stirred at room temperature for 2 h. Then 5 ml of toluene were added and the solvents were distilled off in vacuo. The residue was triturated with 2 ml of acetonitrile, and the title compound was isolated by filtration. Yield: 26 mg of a white solid.
