5 g of hydrazine hydrate were slowly added dropwise to a solution of 15.9 g of 2-methyl-4-fluoronitrobenzene in 10 ml of N-methylpyrrolidone at room temperature, and the mixture was heated with stirring at 65° C. for 4 hours.
