A mixture of 123 (700 mg, 1.77 mmol) and 2-methoxyethanamine (185 □L, 160 mg, 2.12 mmol) in DCM (7 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 10 min. It was then treated with NaBH(OAc)3 (526 mg, 2.48 mmol) and stirred at room temperature overnight. The reaction mixture was diluted with DCM (20 mL) and washed with saturated NaHCO3 solution (20 mL). The organic phase was collected, dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated. The residue was purified by flash chromatography using the gradient 4-8% MeOH/DCM to afford 124 (675 mg, 65% yield). MS (m/z): 455.2 (M+H).
