Procedure
Prepared by a method analogous to that of Example 1(b) from 6.75 g (11.5 mmol) of 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-3-methoxycarbonyl-4-(3-nitrophenyl)-5-(8-phthalimidooctyloxy)carbonyl-pyridine and 1.7 ml (34.5 mmol) of hydrazine hydrate. 4.13 g (78%) of yellow crystals melting at 129°-131° C. obtained with tert.-butyl methyl ether.
