A mixture of 940 mg (2.29 mM) of 2-cyanomethyl-3-octadecylcarbamoyloxypropanol V n2, 0.231 ml (2.98 mM) of methanesulfonyl chloride and 0.483 ml (3.44 mM) of triethylamine in 10 ml of dichloromethane is allowed to react by the same procedure as described in (52) and crude product of the titled compound V n2a is obtained.
