To a solution of 2-(3-((2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methoxy)phenyl)-N-(thiazol-2-yl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole-4-carboxamide (37; 50 mg, 0.111 mmol) in THF was added 4N HCl dropwise until precipitation was observed. The precipitate was collected via vacuum filtration and washed with anhydrous ethanol. The product (Compound 324) was dried overnight under vacuum. (Product was pale yellowish in color and yield=86%). MS (ESI) calcd for C23H22N4O4S: 410.10; found: 411 [M+H].
