After dissolving 480 mg of 6-cyano-4-{4-[4-fluoroanilinocarbonyl]amino-3-fluorophenoxy}quinolin-7-ol sodium salt in 5 ml of dimethylformamide, 350 mg of potassium carbonate and 204 mg of 3-chloropropyldiethylamine were added and the mixture was heated and stirred at 65° C. for 7 hours. After standing to cool, water was added and extraction was performed with ethyl acetate and tetrahydrofuran, after which the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by NH silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate-methanol system) to obtain 135 mg of the title compound.
