The title compound was prepared from 2,6-dichloro-4-iodobenzonitrile (1.09 g, 3.66 mmol) and 1-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-5-boronic acid pinacol ester (1.32 g, 4.76 mmol) as described in Example 34 (a) and (b) until the isolation of the hydrochloride. Yield 0.824 g. 1H NMR (400 MHz; d6-DMSO): δ 7.07 (d, 1H), 7.88 (d, 1H), 8.14 (s, 2H).
