To a solution of 2-{3-[3-(2-methoxy-phenyl)-1-(2-trimethylsilanyl-ethoxymethyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridin-5-yl]-phenyl}-propionic acid, (100 mg, 0.20 mmol), dimethylamine (2 N in THF, 0.143 mL, 0.29 mmol), and diisopropylethylamine (37 mg, 0.29 mmol) in THF (2 mL) was added O-(7-azabenzotriazol-1-yl)-N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyluronium hexafluorophosphate (110 mg, 0.29 mmol.). The resulting suspension was heated to 60° C. with stirring until all was dissolved. The solvent was evaporated and the residue was used in next step without purification. MS: m/z 547 (M+H+).
