The reaction was carried out in the similar procedure to Example 75a using 5.00 g (20.1 mmol) of benzyl 4-(hydroxymethyl)piperidine-1-carboxylate, 0.88 g (20.1 mmol) of sodium hydride (55% or more, oily) and 5.28 g (22.1 mmol) of (2-bromoethoxy)-tert-butyldimethylsilane to obtain 237 mg (yield: 3%) of the title compound as a brown oil.
