Procedure
5.63 g of the product obtained in stage D are dissolved in 2 l of acetonitrile. 8.45 g of triethylamine are slowly added, followed, at 0° C., by 1.658 g of diphosgene and 2.25 g of dimethylaminopyridine. The temperature is allowed to return to ambient temperature. After one hour, the acetonitrile is evaporated and the residue is treated with NaH2PO4 (1M aqueous solution). Extraction is carried out with AcOEt, and the organic phase is washed with water. It is dried over MgSO4 and the solvent is evaporated. The residue is chromatographed on silica (eluent: heptane/AcOEt (4:1)). The compound obtained is crystallized from ether at 0° C. and 1.96 g of the expected product (41%) are isolated.
