1 ml of a dimethylformamide solution containing 23 mg of 1-phenyl-2-(1-imidazolyl)ethanol was heated at 50° C. for 30 minutes with 5 mg of 55% sodium hydride, and then 1 ml of a dimethylformamide solution containing 65 mg of cis-6-(2,4-dichlorobenzyloxy)-2-tosyloxymethyltetrahydropyran, prepared as described in Example 2(a), were added thereto. The mixture was heated at 85° C. for 3 hours and then the mixture was treated and the product purified essentially as described in (a) above, to give 20 mg of the title compound as a liquid.
