5-{3-[(1S)-2-Methoxy-1-methylethoxy]-5-[(triisopropylsilyl)oxy]phenyl}-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid (1.03 g, 2.30 mmol) synthesized in Example (106c) was dissolved in methylene chloride (20 mL), and (2R)-1-aminobutan-2-ol (0.40 g, 4.49 mmol) synthesized according to a method known to the public (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2007, 46, 2245.), WSC•HCl (1.15 g, 6.00 mmol) and 4-dimethylaminopyridine (280 mg, 2.29 mmol) were added, followed by stirring at room temperature overnight under nitrogen atmosphere. To the reaction solution, a saturated aqueous ammonium chloride solution (30 mL) was added, and extraction was carried out with methylene chloride (30 mL). The organic layer was washed with saturated brine, and subsequently dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure, and the resulting residue was purified using silica gel column chromatography (elution solvent: ethyl acetate/hexane=60%-80%) to afford the desired compound (1.01 g, yield 85%) as a white solid.
