Prepared using General Procedure 20. To a stirring solution of methyl 2-((tert-butoxycarbonyl)(4-(N-hydroxycarbamimidoyl)benzyl)amino)acetate INT-75 (786 mg, 2.33 mmol) and DIEA (448 μL, 2.56 mmol) in dioxanes (15 mL) was added 4′-methyl-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-carbonyl chloride (591 mg, 2.56 mmol), at room temperature. After 30 min the reaction mixture was heated to 120° C. for 3 h. The reaction mixture was diluted with EA (150 mL) and washed with brine (100 mL). The organics were concentrated in vacuo and the crude product purified by chromatography (MeCN/DCM) to afford 518 mg (43%) of methyl 2-((tert-butoxycarbonyl)(4-(5-(4′-methyl-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-yl)-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl)benzyl)amino)acetate INT-76 as a white solid.
