Procedure
To a mixture of ethyl 6-cyclopropyl-8-(1,3-oxazol-5-yl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-carboxylate (150 mg) in a mixed solvent of THF (3 mL) and ethanol (1.2 mL) was added 8N aqueous sodium hydroxide solution (95 μL), and the mixture was stirred at 70° C. for 50 min. The reaction mixture was neutralized with 6N hydrochloric acid in an ice bath, and extracted with ethyl acetate. The extract was washed with saturated brine, and dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to give the title Compound (140 mg).
