A solution of 0.81 g (3.0 mmol) of -ethyl-6, 7, 8-trifluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid, 0.66 g (3.3 mmol) of 6,8-diazabicyclo[3.2.2]nonane, dihydrochloride, 1.35 ml (9.0 mmol) of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene and 20 ml of acetonitrile was heated under reflux for 3 hr. After cooling to room temperature the solid was collected by filtration to give 0.52 g {of the title compound, mp 245°-250° .
