A solution of (Z)-1,3-dihydro-5-fluoro-4-[(2S,4R)-(4-hydroxy-pyrrolidin-2-yl)-ethynyl]-3-[(3-methoxy-1H-pyrrol-2-yl)methylene]-2H-indol-2-one (30 mg, 0.06 mmol) (Example 99D above) in DMF (3 mL) was treated with aqueous HCl under vigorous stirring. The solution was lyophilized and the residue was perceipitated from a mixture of CH2Cl2/MeOH (3:1) with excess of pentanes. (Yield 30 mg, 91%).
