2-(7-(2-Methoxyethoxy)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-3-yl)quinolin-8-ol (0.030 g, 0.0895 mmol), tert-butyl 4-hydroxypiperidine-1-carboxylate (0.0198 g, 0.0984 mmol), triphenylphosphine (0.0352 g, 0.134 mmol) and diethyl azodicarboxylate (0.0211 ml, 0.134 mmol) were combined in anhydrous THF (1 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred overnight at ambient temperature, then diluted with EtOAc and washed with saturated NaHCO3 and brine, dried (Na2SO4), filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified via flash column chromatography (dichloromethane followed by 40:1 dichloromethane/MeOH) which provided 29.0 mg of the desired product as a brown residue.
