To a solution of the compound of Example 1 (100 mg, 0.5 mmol) in anhydrous tetrahydrofuran (2 ml) was added triethylamine (0.08 ml, 0.6 mmol), followed by 4-fluorophenyl chloroformate (0.26 ml, 2.0 mmol). The reaction mixture was then stirred at room temperature, under nitrogen, for 1 h. To the mixture was added ethyl acetate (10 ml) and water (10 ml) and the two layers were separated. The aqueous layer was washed with ethyl acetate (10 ml) and the combined organic phases were dried (MgSO4) and concentrated in vacuo.
