Procedure

A solution of the product of Example 174F (0.020 g, 0.025 mmol) in a mixture of dioxane (0.250 mL) and water (0.100 mL) was added an aqueous solution of lithium hydroxide (0.028 mL, 1 N), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hour. The reaction was diluted with ethyl acetate and washed with brine, dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated to give the title compound, which was used without further purification.
