The stirred solution of 0.0435 g of benzyl 4-(4-chloromethylphenyl)-3-[4-(3-methoxypropyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[1,4]oxazin-6-ylmethoxy]piperidine-1-carboxylate (Example 270b) and 0.0155 g of 3-phenylpyrrolidine in 0.5 ml of N,N-dimethylformamide is admixed at 0° C. with 0.0076 g of sodium hydride dispersion (60% in oil). The reaction mixture is stirred at 0° C. over 15 minutes, then at room temperature for 1 hour, and subsequently diluted with 80 ml of tert-butyl methyl ether. The mixture is washed with 20 ml of water, then 10 ml of brine, dried over sodium sulphate, filtered and concentrated by evaporation. The title compound is obtained as a slightly yellowish oil from the residue by means of flash chromatography (SiO2 60F). Rt=4.72.
