Procedure
The compound of Example 15 (97.0 mg, 0.2 mmol, 1 equiv) and ethyl chloroformate (29.8 mg, 0.3 mmol, 1.3 equiv) were suspended in THF (2 mL) and cooled to 0° C. Ethyldiisopropyl amine (82.1 mg, 0.6 mmol, 3 equiv) was added dropwise and the reaction mixture was allowed to reach rt. It was stirred for 1 hour at ambient temperature. Ethyl acetate and saturated aqueous NH4Cl solution were added and the phases were separated. The aqueous layer was extracted three times with ethyl acetate and the combined organic extracts were dried over Na2SO4. After removal of the solvents under reduced pressure the crude product was purified by chromatography (SiO2, gradient CH/EtOAc 6:4 to EtOAc 100%). Yield 39.0 mg, 37.3%. 1H NMR (CDCl3, 400 MHz) δ 7.61-7.55 (m, 1H); 7.52-7.49 (m, 2H); 7.31-7.18 (m, 2H); 7.09-6.96 (m, 1H); 6.82 (d, 2H); 5.71 (d, 1H); 4.79-4.64 (m, 1H); 4.34-4.29 (m, 1H); 4.19-4.02 (m, 4H); 3.75 (s, 3H); 3.19-3.06 (m, 1H); 1.23 (t, 3H); 0.89-0.75 (m, 2 H); 0.76-0.68 (m, 2H). MS (EI) 494 (M+H).
