Procedure
To a solution of 8-bromo-4-chloro-1-methoxy-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]quinoxaline (2.0 g) in DMF (50 mL) was added solid sodium bicarbonate (1.1 g) and isopropylamine (0.82 mL). The resulting mixture was stirred at 23° C. for 18 hrs. and then diluted with EtOAc. The mixture was washed sequentially with water and brine, and then dried over sodium sulfate. Concentration afforded (8-bromo-1-methoxy-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]quinoxalin-4-yl)-isopropyl-amine as a light yellow solid. MS (M+H)+=337.3.
