Procedure

(2R)-N-[1-(Cycloheptylmethyl)piperidin-4-yl]-2-cyclopentyl-2-hydroxy-2-phenylacetamide obtained in Example 34 was dissolved in chloroform and a 4N hydrochloric acid solution in ethyl acetate was added thereto. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure and the residue was washed with diethyl ether. The resulting solid was recrystallized from ethanol-diethyl ether to obtain the title compound.
