100 mg of the crude HCl salt of 4-(aminomethyl)-N-(4-chloro-3-(pyridin-2-yl)phenyl)benzamide was reacted with 80 mg of 1-(4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-2-yl)-3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole and 110 μL of DIPEA in 1 mL of DMF in the microwave at 150° C. for 5 minutes. The crude product was concentrated to dryness and purified by reverse phase HPLC to yield N-(4-chloro-3-(pyridin-2-yl)phenyl)-4-((4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-2-ylamino)methyl)benzamide. MS (Q1) 406 (M)+.
