This compound was prepared according to the procedure of Example 97. A mixture of 3.2 g (0.016 mole) of 1-(4-chlorophenyl)piperazine, 3.8 g (0.016 mole) of 4-chloro-1-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-butanol, 8.3 g (0.078 mole) of anhydrous sodium carbonate and 0.1 g of potassium iodide in a total volume of 200 ml of 1-butanol gave a golden oil as residue. The hydrochloride was formed in 2-propanol saturated with hydrogen chloride and the collected solid was recrystallized from methol-water-ethyl ether to give 3.6 g (47%) of white solid, m.p. 195°-200° C.
