To a mixture of 8-(3,4-difluorophenyl)-3-[3-methoxy-4-(2-methyl-1,3-oxazol-5-yl)phenyl]-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyridine (200 mg) in DMF (4 mL) was added sodium hydride (60%, 28.4 mg) at room temperature, and the mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 30 min under a nitrogen atmosphere. Ethyl iodide (45.2 μL) was added to the reaction mixture at room temperature, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 min. The reaction mixture was diluted with water, and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The extract was washed with saturated brine, and dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (methanol/ethyl acetate) to give the title compound (37.1 mg).
