Procedure
(E)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-N-(2-(5-methoxy-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl) acrylamide (2h) was synthesized by the condensation of 4-hydroxy cinnamic acid (150 mg, 0.914 mmol) and 5-methoxy tryptamine (207 mg, 1.09 mmol) using standard EDC coupling method. 2h was isolated as yellowish solid (181 mg, 59%) by elution with 25% ethyl acetate in hexane.
