Procedure

(Azidomethyl)trimethylsilane, pent-1-yne, copper (II) sulfate and sodium (R)-2-((S)-1,2-dihydroxyethyl)-4-hydroxy-5-oxo-2,5-dihydrofuran-3-olate) were added to a 1:2 solution of water:buten-1-ol. The reaction was stirred for about 4 days and t-butanol and water were removed, producing a 4-propyl-1-((trimethylsilyl)methyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazole solid.
