Procedure

A solution of mg of (2-(2-amino-5-(piperidin-1-yl)phenyl)pyridin-4-yl)(3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-methanol 5.2c, and 41 mg of 3-((3-tert-butoxy-3-oxopropylthio)methyl)benzoic acid 1.1c, 67 mg of diisopropylethylamine in 1.5 mL of DMF was treated with 57 mg of HATU. After stirring at 60° C. for 2 h the mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate and washed once with a saturated aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate, three times with water, and once with brine. After drying (Na2SO4) the solvent was evaporated to give 107 mg of product. MS (ES, m/z) 706.2 [M+H]+.
