After dissolving 160 mg of N1-(2-fluoroethyl)-5-[(2-{[(1-tert-butyloxycarbonyl-4-piperidyl)carbonyl]amino}-4-pyridyl)oxy]-1H-1-indolecarboxamide in 10 ml of trifluoroacetic acid, the solution was stirred at room temperature for 10 minutes. Ethyl acetate and sodium bicarnobate water were added to alkalinity for liquid separation. The ethyl acetate layer was washed once with brine and dried over magnesium sulfate. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure to obtain 86 mg of a colorless powder.
