Procedure
25 ml of purified water was added to 1.7 ml(0.035 mol) of hydrazine monohydrate and then 7 ml(0.07 mol) of conc. hydrochloric acid was added dropwise thereto. Then, the reaction solution was warmed to boil. When the reaction mixture begins to reflux, 5.33 g(0.035 mol) of 3,4,5,6-tetrahydrophthalic acid anhydride was added thereto. The reaction solution was continuously refluxed for 3 hours and then cooled. Then, the reaction solution was treated according to the same manner as Preparation 1 to obtain the title compound as an white needle crystal.
